Cyclostationary analysis has been established as an important tool in conducting spectrum sensing, signal detection, parameter estimation and modulation detection in radio frequency (RF) applications. However, it is not clear if cyclostationary analysis can be successfully applied to underwater acoustic communication signals, given the extremely complicated multi-path environment of the underwater acoustic channel. In this talk, we discuss various issues of applying cyclostationary analysis methods to real underwater acoustic communication signals obtained from experiments in the sea and provide a suite of algorithms to perform signal detection, parameter estimation and modulation detection. An efficient algorithm is developed to release the computational complexity of the cyclostationary analysis as well.
报告人简介:
Dr. Zhiqiang Wu is the Brage Golding Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering of Wright State University. He received his B.S. from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1993, his M.S. from Peking University in 1996, and his Ph.D. from Colorado State University in 2002, all in electrical engineering.He has worked at West Virginia University Institute of Technology as assistant professor from 2003 to 2005. He joined Wright State University in 2005 and currently serves as the Brage Golding Distinguished Professor and Director of Wright Center for Sensor System Engineering. He has published more than 200 papers in journals and conferences. He has served as Chair of Acoustic Communication Interest Group of IEEE Technical Committee on Multimedia Communications.
